This Virtual tour is designed for schools and colleges wishing to explore a typical seashore and sand dune habitat. You can visit Derrynane and use the app to walk the actual seashore nature trail where you can see the plants and animals in real life.
Alternatively, you can take your class to a similar seashore habitat and use this resource as a field guide for ID of plants and animals outdoors.
Managed by the Office of Public Works, this walk was the first seashore nature trail to be developed in the Republic of Ireland.
