Overview

A trail of re-imagining and rediscovery along Glasgow’s great river.

A new walking tour through history and the here and now of life on and around the Clyde. Brought to you by Walking Heads in collaboration with Festival 2014 and VELOCITY.

From Govan in the West to Bridgeton in the East End, we walk upstream following the river as it flows through art and architecture, shipbuilding and trade, music and theatre, folklore and living memory... through the heart and soul of Glasgow itself.

It's a long walk so we have split it into four parts:
Govan old and new – from Govan Cross to Finnieston Crane
The Commercial Clyde – from Lancelot Quay to Glasgow Green
Dear Green Place – from Glasgow Green to the East End
The East End – a circular loop from Bridgeton via Emirates Stadium

You can take the tour in any order you like. Just use the map to decide where to start and stop.
