Overview

Welcome Ervy-le-Châtel, a town with character !

ERVY-LE-CHÂTEL is located in Champagne on the borders of Burgundy. It is built on the site of a very old circular fortified town and at the edge of the 'Othe forest' above the Armance valley.
ERVY's charm is characterised by three main listed monuments, but also by many remarkable buildings : the medieval Saint-Aubin Chapel, known as the Maladrerie (lazaret) , the Belgrand House, the Hospital-Hospice which dates back to the XIVth century, the alleys and the Berle Walk. The town was approved "Petite cité de caractère" (a national accolade) in 2014 and "Villages of Tradition" (European accolade) in 2015.
