My name is Shane Harnett. I'm an Irish tour guide with an official Roma guide's license issued by the Provincia di Roma. I have been working in the Roman tourism industry for a decade, specialising in private custom-designed tours. I also act and write for theatre. I staged my Nero-themed comedy "Rusty Sings to Save the Ice" in the Trastevere district of Rome in May 2009 and am currently working on a play about an assassination attempt against Renaissance pope Leo X.
