The IWAI Newry & Portadown branch was formed in 2005 with the aim of restoring the Newry canal. We are all volunteers who give up our time to further the cause of re-opening the canal This Towpath Tour is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and we hope it brings the history of the canal to life for visitors to the towpath.
