6E1 and 6E2 STORYTELLER
Two Grade 6 classes exploring our local history.
We are two Grade 6 classes from Allan Drive Middle School in Bolton. We started this inquiry as we were learning about communities in Ontario and finished with focusing on our own community of Bolton. We had many guest speakers share valuable information with us: Councillor Mezzapelli spoke with us about Bolton's future and the growth plans for Caledon; Mrs. Broadbent, a Bolton expert, spoke with us about Bolton's past; we also connected via a Google hangout with Sara at the ROM to get helpful tips about using the GuidiGo app. Many teachers and students were involved in this inquiry and we have really enjoyed the collaborative journey!
